The cascading waters create a rainbow at the base of the slope, formed by water refraction and sunlight. This steep ascent marks the beginning of the hike to the eternal ice of the Schlatenkees glacier.
The audio recording was made during a period of intense summer heat, when high temperatures caused rapid glacier melt. The powerful roar of the wild waterfall is a striking testament to this natural phenomenon.
