They cascade through the rocks along the hiking trails, offering hikers a diverse and dynamic soundscape. The waterfalls’ splashing and roaring sounds attract countless visitors each year. The cool freshness created by the bubbling and spraying water provides a delightful refreshment on hot summer days. This audio recording was captured from a viewing platform along the region’s famous water-themed trail. At this stop, an information board offers insights into the gorge’s diverse vegetation, highlighting protected plants such as masterwort, rowan trees, alpine currant, grey alder, grey alpine rose, and many more. The platform also features an inspirational quote engraved on an iron plaque: „Sinnestaumel – Ich öffne Ohren, Augen, Nase, Mund… und erlebe die Sinnlichkeit der Natur mit jeder Pore.“
