Its dense vegetation allows passage only along the marked hiking trails. The idea of spending a night in this forest seems anything but appealing. This recording was made during the day. While the strong rustling of the treetops made the wind audible above, an almost eerie silence prevailed below. With careful listening, the distinctive sound of the famous steam locomotive can be heard in the background – a moment that perfectly complements the forest’s mysterious charm.
