Story attached by the author to this sound recording:The Eulenberg in Upper Franconia presents an impressive display of golden and green hues during the autumn months. The forest’s silence is so profound that the distant hum of agricultural machinery can be heard from deep within.
This recording was made in the early morning hours before the day’s traffic disrupted the tranquility. Every sound in the forest is distinctly audible: the awakening of birds and their initial songs as the first rays of sunlight break through.
Unexpectedly, the recording captured a peculiar call from an unknown animal, briefly interrupting the stillness and adding to the enchantment of the experience.
