The gentle chirping of birds and the soft babble of the water create a relaxing atmosphere. With little wind and under the warm sun, the hike offers a surprisingly captivating nature experience.
Taking a break during the ascent allows for a breathtaking view of the island's landscape from an altitude of 1,558 meters. This spot vividly demonstrates that Gran Canaria has much more to offer than barren scenery. However, the region’s changeable weather conditions are worth noting. Within moments, fog can roll in, drastically reducing visibility.
As the fog descended and limited visibility to just a few meters, it was time to pack up the gear and continue the hike.
